All is well with our little kitty. Yesterday was a visit to the vet for "his" first checkup. Yes, "Isabella" is an "Isaac," news which came as a surprise to me. Still, the kids call him "Izzy" or "Iz Whiz" and I'll continue to call him "Bella," because honestly, I don't think he cares.

I have to tell you about a conversation my daughter and I had. She asked when we could begin to let Izzy outside. I told her we have to wait until his second round of kitty shots and until after he gets fixed. Her reply, in all seriousness was, "Oh, you mean like after they give him a new foot?" Ah, out of the mouths of babes!
And just in case you were wondering, Isaac is about 14 weeks old, his leg is healing beautifully and each day he show us a little more sweetness and spunk! I am so thankful for this amazing little guy... he's brought us much love and we are blessed to have him:)

It's not that easy to tell he/she in kittens - which is how my first cat got the name "muffin." I wanted a lap cat and he was a grouchy thing. My mom said it was because of his name!
Looks liek Isaac is going to be a wonderful member of teh family. My cat (who happens to look like a bigger, older, four legged version of Isaac) loves when I lay down on my side like that. He loves to come lay next to me and "spoon."
Kittens do like to surprise you. Nellie became Nelson and Ms. Kitty is now Buddy. (And I grew up on a farm!)Whatever you call Izzy, he's adorable.
Isaac was our first dog's name. We loved him very very much! I know Isaac is blessed to have YOU too.
